Last May, we brought together an exhibition of remarkable craft and heritage skills at art'otel London Hoxton.
The show features work from the makers we encountered during our 1,300-mile walk across the length of Britain. This was alongside additional QEST and Heritage Craft alumni. From tanning, turning and weaving to printing, engraving and stitching, the show presents the spirit of the handmade and the importance of its protection. We want to encourage all visitors to look closely at the exchange between material and technique, and to consider our landscape and the creations it supports.
Coinciding with London Craft Week, the programme included a series of special events throughout the month.

The Makers' Table — An Evening of Craft & Conversation
An evening discussion on the future of craft featuring Lulu Lytle (SOANE), Dr Guy Hayward (British Pilgrimage Trust) and James Stevens (Bard), with Sylva supplying their new dark and aged non-alcoholic spirit.

- In conversation with Andrea Chappell and the Dye, Weave, Pleat Collective
- Panel talk hosted by Ben Branson, founder of Seedlip and Sylva, featuring Tim Hellier, Director of Artichoke, Deborah Pocock, CEO of QEST, and jewellery maker Chloe Valorso
